SueRobert from River City Painting gave me a quote for staining my 13 year old fence around the house and for painting my backyard trellis. The next day, Robert and his crew power washed the fence and trellis, being careful around the weaker boards. Afterwards, Robert made an extra trip to the store for me to pick up 5 gallon containers of stain. On day 2, his crew did the following prep work: *scraped the old paint off the trellis, sanded it, and used a primer to set before painting a new coat the following day. *set cardboard sections all around the full length of the fence at the base *taped paper around the metal poles *taped paper over the brick wall sections where the gates are *covered the cement slab and other items under the trellis *and moved the potted plants On the 3rd day, the crew began spraying the stain on the fence and painting the trellis. Much care was taken to do an outstanding job…and they did!! After applying 2 coats and using up all the stain for me, the cleanup was meticulous; they used a power blower on the back porch, and plants were put back in place. The fence and trellis look amazing! **Robert is a very kind and conscientious person. He returned messages promptly, and described in detail the process from beginning to end. He and/or his crew was on time, even early, each day. Each person was polite, and did a very skilled and professional job.
